Best parties in Berlin this December and New Year
Whether you’re seeking wild hedonism, queer community, or experimental sounds, here's where you'll find us this month....
While Berlin's Christmas markets serve glühwein, it’s nightlife is serving something stronger. December's party calendar is stacked with promoters competing to serve the year's most anticipated events, with line-ups like you wouldn’t believe. But since nobody needs the stress of choosing between 5 parties every weekend, we've done the homework for you...

PLASMA
PLASMA is where Femme Bass Mafia’s behind-the-scenes work of workshops and community-building hits the dancefloor. Their mission: to challenge the scene's imbalance by equipping women, trans, and non-binary artists with skills and then providing a proper stage to showcase their sound. This edition is fronted by DJ Fuckoff, whose sets are a high-speed collision of hardcore breaks and raw attitude. With a stacked lineup from re:ni, MI-EL, and Addison Groove, expect serious sound in a FLINTA* led space.

M.Á.S
PHANTOM BAR
Our friends at M.A.S throw smaller, more intimate parties that punch above their weight. This one takes over Phantom Bar’s cozy and friendly (aka. slutty) space, focusing on community and feel-good selection. The emphasis is on shared experience: “We wanted a party to bring people together around the music, without ego,” say the team. Show up solo or with a crew—connections are easy here.

WEEEIRDOS
"There’s a misconception that Berlin crowds are cold... in reality, people want to connect," says Lolsnake. WEEEIRDOS is her answer—a midweek Panorama Bar session for the people who "wear that on their sleeve." It's a space designed to arouse fun and freedom, where a no-boundaries music policy helps a friendly, open crowd connect without pretense.

HERRENSAUNA
It’s been a decade since Herrensauna first unleashed its vision in the Bertrams basement. What followed has been, in their words, "the hottest, most gorgeous kind of blur"—an evolution from a friends' gathering into a global techno phenomenon. For their 10-year anniversary, the core family of residents and relatives (CEM, JASSS, SPFDJ, MCMLXXXV and more) reunites on home ground. This is the blueprint for raw, uncompromising queer techno and it’s going to get steamy for sure.

VERSION
For over a decade, VERSION has been the bass-heavy soul of OHM. This is their end-of-year thank-you to the community, run by two absolute legends of sound system culture: Orson, who came up in London's original dubstep scene, and DJ Hops, the "sharp-shooter" Hard Wax veteran. Expect them to weave together dub, jungle, house, and futuristic club bangers with help from friends and family. It’s a night built on good vibes and deep history.
Tickets on the door.

MULTISEX
MultiSex returns for a 24-hour takeover —no announced line-up because… “you’re the party.” Fifteen selectors from London, Berlin, Munich, Copenhagen, Switzerland and beyond spin everything from afro-tinged funk and early-2000s R&B through raw ghetto house and ambient interludes, into euphoric disco and head-down techno. Expect a hot, creative crowd who are probably the best dressed in Berlin. Pop in whenever, stay as long as you like.

GEGEN x PRNCPTL
The sex party to end all sex parties. “The essence of our parties is to create a space where you can be genuinely free—free from judgement, free to explore yourself and your desires, and to feel safe doing it,” say the PRNCPTL and Gegen teams. The ethos here is radical freedom and genuine mutual care. There’s a clear, well-run awareness team and full transparency about the inclusive rules. Expect big techno, strong performance art, and an open-minded crowd.

OXI NYE
Lean into Berlin’s tradition of marathon raving with a ridiculous lineup. This one’s a real family affair packed with residents from local collectives, such as Yazzus (Mala Junta), Olha (DRIFT Kyiv) and Nycky Estrella (Rawmantique). Multiple rooms, big system, indoor/outdoor energy and plenty of familiar faces in the crowd. Trust the residents, ignore the clock, and you’ll have a time.

SILVESTER KLUBNACHT
“The energy on the floor New Year’s Day is wild—there’s a weird sense of shared anticipation,” says one regular. You’ll see spaces open that aren’t accessible the rest of the year, with a marathon spirit carrying everyone through. Pro tip: “Arrive late morning or early afternoon on New Year’s Day to avoid the queue and catch the best crowd.” Settle in slow, pace yourself and dance ‘till closing.
